The salary range for this role is $22-$24 per hour. Dental Treatment Coordinator
The Endodontic Specialists
We are a high volume, fast paced endodontic practice that is seeking a personable and organized Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our patients by reviewing recommended treatments, discussing financial options, and ensuring a clear and positive patient experience from consultation through completion of care.
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday 7am-4pm
- Present proposed treatment plans to patients and explain procedures, timelines, and financial obligations
- Coordinate scheduling of treatment appointments based on provider availability and patient needs
- Obtain necessary pre-authorizations and ensure accurate insurance benefit breakdowns
- Review payment options, process financial arrangements, and collect payments as needed
- Follow up with patients regarding pending treatment and ensure timely case acceptance
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and communication
- Serve as a liaison between the provider and patient to facilitate understanding and trust
- Educate patients on the importance and value of proposed treatments
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations
- Assist with front desk duties as needed
- Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of experience in a dental administrative role
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with dental treatment planning and insurance coordination
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Experience with dental practice management software
- Ability to explain complex information in a clear and supportive way
- Understanding of dental procedures, codes, and insurance plans
- Knowledge of HIPAA and regulatory requirements
