Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Worker/Order Selector at our church, you will play a vital hands-on role in supporting our mission to serve the community. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for our food pantry, humanitarian aid programs, and church events.
Responsibilities:
Order Selection & Fulfillment:
- Accurately select products from warehouse inventory based on pick sheets or digital orders for daily food pantry distributions, family care boxes, and event supplies.
- Pack orders into boxes or bags as needed, ensuring contents are secure and appropriately grouped.
- Label and stage completed orders for timely pickup or delivery.
Warehouse Operations:
- Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against packing slips; report discrepancies or damage.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory by stacking, shelving, and binning products logically.
Teamwork & Mission Support:
- Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to achieve daily goals.
- Provide friendly, supportive assistance to volunteers working in the warehouse.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying orders.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $21.78 - $25.81 per hour
