Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Associate/Materials Handler at our church, you will support the efficient management and distribution of supplies, donations, and event materials. Your role is essential in maintaining an organized storage system, ensuring items are readily available for ministry programs, outreach events, and daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Receiving & Inventory Management:
- Accept and inspect incoming donations, supplies, and purchased materials.
- Sort, label, and store items in designated areas for easy retrieval.
Order Fulfillment & Distribution:
- Prepare and distribute supplies for church events, food pantries, or outreach programs.
- Assist in assembling care packages or kits for community support initiatives.
Warehouse Maintenance & Safety:
- Keep storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Report maintenance issues or damaged goods to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.71 - $25.79 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
