Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the safety, cleanliness, and overall functionality of our property. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor repairs, including fixing locks, patching walls, replacing light fixtures, and janitorial tasks
- Install and set up appliances or equipment as needed
- Inspect and troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Maintain outdoor areas, including landscaping and trash removal
- Complete routine cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks
- Inspect safety equipment such as alarms and fire extinguishers
- Report completed work and any maintenance issues to management in a timely manner
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous maintenance, handyman, or related experience required
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends, as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications are a plus
