Customer Service Representative III
Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Technical Specialist to join our Customer Service team. This position is responsible for assisting customers with product orders, providing technical support, and resolving inquiries across multiple communication channels. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a customer-first mindset and solid technical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries with accurate, timely, and professional information via phone, email, live chat, and other channels.
- Process product orders received through various means, including phone, email, fax, and online platforms.
- Enter and maintain accurate customer data using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and order management platforms (e.g., Dynamics GP).
- Coordinate requests for literature, product samples, and shipment tracking details.
- Document and manage customer complaints and claims; escalate product issues to the appropriate quality assurance team.
- Handle return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) and collaborate with accounting to resolve pricing or billing discrepancies.
- Process Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) orders and maintain information in the EDI system.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and internal procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support ongoing process improvements and assist with other tasks or projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in customer service, technical support, or order processing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote), Salesforce, Adobe Acrobat, and data management tools.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics GP) and EDI platforms is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving, listening, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact professionally with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Willingness to travel to up to three events annually.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
