Job Overview
As an Educational Aide, you will play a pivotal role in helping shape the minds and hearts of young learners. What you’ll do
- Assisting the implementation of lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to individual learning styles.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration among students.
- Assist with managing classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, and other members of the students' IEP team to ensure each student's needs are being met.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in education, literacy, math, and childhood development.
Basic qualifications
- High School Diploma, or GED Equivalent.
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and colleagues.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in special education or experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with implementing curriculum and lesson planning strategies.
- Experience in behavior management techniques tailored for diverse learners.
