Duties
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure the organization’s mission is fulfilled effectively and ethically
- Participate actively in board meetings, committees, and special projects to support organizational goals
- Assist in developing and reviewing policies, programs, and initiatives aligned with organizational values
- Leverage your expertise in areas such as Salesforce, Raiser's Edge (a donor management software), social media management, or public speaking to enhance outreach and engagement efforts
- Support fundraising activities through networking, outreach, and promoting volunteer recruitment efforts such as campus recruitment initiatives
- Oversee volunteer management programs, including supervising volunteer coordinators and ensuring effective volunteer training & development
- Advocate for the organization within your professional network and community to raise awareness and foster partnerships
Experience
- Proven leadership experience with a background in management or supervisory roles
- Demonstrated success in recruiting volunteers or staff for social work or community-based projects
- Skilled in public speaking with the ability to communicate compellingly about organizational goals and initiatives
- Experience with social media management to enhance organizational visibility and engagement campaigns
- Familiarity with Salesforce or Raiser's Edge for donor tracking, data management, or CRM purposes is highly desirable
- Background in campus recruitment or training & development programs that support volunteer onboarding and capacity building
- Strong commitment to social work principles, community service, or nonprofit governance with a passion for leadership in social impact initiatives
