The Role:
As a Room Attendant / Housekeeper,& you will& be responsible for ensuring that our guest’s first& impression of their room is a spotless and welcoming home-away-from-home, and that every& detail of their room is in perfect order.& You'll& clean each room to hotel standards - vacuuming,& dusting, removing trash, cleaning bathrooms, and making the beds. This position requires& lifting, bending, carrying, and being on your feet, so if& you're& looking for a job where you can be& active, this is it!
Qualifications:
- A genuine and friendly approach to guest& interactions.
- Able to collaborate with teammates and with other& departments
- Previous experience in janitorial, cleaning or housekeeping preferred but not& required
- Able to interact with guests in a friendly& manner.
- While English fluency may not be required for this role, the Room Attendant should have& sufficient communication skills to be able to direct the guest to someone who can better assist& them
- Friendly demeanor – a smile when passing a guest is a great communication& skill
- Consistent awareness of physical environment and attention to safety && security
- Attention to all details in each room; impeccable cleanliness in& each and every& detail
- Self-motivated to complete tasks efficiently && thoroughly
- Able to efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure that rooms are done within& prescribed time limits and done to& standard.
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the& position;
- Pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, working quickly and constantly on your& feet.
- Basic understanding of cleaning tools, equipment and& chemicals
- Understanding of safety protocols and able to report safety& hazards
