Per Diem Events Staff

The Eldred Preserve is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Per Diem Event Staff to support weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and other special occasions. This position offers flexible scheduling with opportunities to work a variety of events throughout the year.

Event Staff are expected to be available for and work a minimum of two shifts per week, based on event schedules and business needs. Shift lengths typically range from 6 to 10 hours depending on the nature and timing of each event.

Duties vary based on the specific event and may include weddings, corporate functions, religious celebrations, private parties, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown.
• Maintain event spaces and service areas throughout events.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with service standards and applicable regulations.
• Maintain table settings by clearing completed courses, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and attending to guest needs.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service requirements.
• Work collaboratively with event managers and team members to ensure successful event execution.
• Perform all duties as assigned to support the overall guest experience.

• Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to learn and adhere to all federal, state, and local laws regarding alcohol service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability to work a minimum of two shifts per week, including at least one weekend shift during peak event season.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/move event equipment as needed.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
