Industrial Painter or Paint Helper

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
• Operate paint spraying equipment and other application methods to apply coatings efficiently across diverse surfaces
• Use crane or forklift equipment to handle heavy materials and move components safely within the workspace
• Mix paints, primers, and coatings accurately using basic math skills to achieve desired color and consistency standards
• Conduct inspections of finished work with precision measuring instruments to verify coating thickness and uniformity
• Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and equipment to promote a safe and organized environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial or construction painting, auto body repair, or auto painting is highly desirable
• Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, and materials handling techniques
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, airless paint sprayers, and other relevant machinery
• Ability to operate forklifts or cranes safely; certification preferred but not required
• Basic math skills for measuring paint quantities and calculating coverage areas
• Experience with precision measuring instruments to ensure high-quality finishes
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and warehouse operations is a plus
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to industrial painting environments
