Flexible After-School Teaching Jobs – Alameda, Oakland, San Leandro, Berkeley, and surrounding East Bay communities.
The Education Team is looking for part-time after-school staff. Work with students in grades TK–8, choose your schedule, and make an impact after school!
The Education Team partners with a wide range of educational organizations, including public school districts, charter schools, community-based programs, and after-school programs.
After-School Substitute Teacher Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage students
- Lead or assist with activities (art, sports, STEM, homework help)
- Support program structure and routines
Schedule:
- Part-time, Monday–Friday — you choose your days
- Shifts typically 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (MUST BE AVAILABLE THESE HOURS)
Requirements:
- Availability during after-school hours (2PM–6PM)
- High School Diploma Required
- AA / BA Degrees earn more!
- Must be able to pass a Live Scan background check
- Negative TB test required prior to hire
- Some experience working with children preferred, but not required
