Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for our continued growth, focusing on attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent across our diverse departments. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, organized, and charismatic professional with a passion for connecting people with opportunities and building talent pipelines from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (80%)

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all positions, from entry-level to management, including Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC Technicians, Inside/Outside Sales Representatives, and Call Center/Dispatch personnel.

Proactively recruit for and promote our internal development program, Eco University ("Eco U").

Actively create and maintain a waitlist and pipeline of individuals with the "want it, get it, can do it" attitude for our trades program.

Partner with department managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

Source candidates using a variety of methods, including online job boards, social media, career fairs, and networking events.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with high schools, alternative, and post-secondary educational institutions.

Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.

Manage a high volume of open requisitions, especially during peak hiring seasons.

Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment.
Human Resources & Learning & Development (20%)

Assist with the new-hire onboarding process, including conducting background checks and managing new-hire paperwork.

Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement and employee relations as needed.

Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
