Dir, Pricing, Planning and Inventory

Are you ready to drive strategic growth and operational excellence at one of media's most dynamic companies? Scripps Networks is seeking a visionary Director of Pricing, Planning & Inventory who will be responsible for increasing efficiency from an operational perspective and positioning the Networks for growth via sales planning & inventory processes. This remote leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our sales operations while leading a talented team of professionals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Drives the development and implementation of strategic sales planning
• Manages sales planning and maximizes inventory across all networks
• Approves sales proposals and planning rates for client/agency submission
• Manages re-expression of dollars, sell-off and cancellation options terms
• Approves distribution of ADU schedules
• Manages and prioritizes sales planers' workload and distributes work accordingly
• Manages a team of sales assistants and sales planners
• Recommends and implements new or improved processes and tools to enhance the planning process
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• BA/BS degree preferred
• 8-10 years inventory and/or sales planning experience
  
  

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Demonstrated competency in strategic planning and process improvement
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Aptitude in decision making and problem solving
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, expedite, analyze, prioritize and work well interdepartmentally with all levels of management
