We are looking for an experienced Artisan Bread Baker to join our team!
We are seeking someone with enthusiasm for creating artisan breads, where attention to detail and organizational skills are a must. Following recipes to prepare a variety of different breads from dinner rolls to sour doughs. Our ideal candidate will have creativity that matches their skill to develop amazing new tastes and recipes.
Responsibilities
- Scaling, Mixing, Shaping & Baking Artisan Breads
- Continue our long-standing traditional menu of fresh and sometimes new and exciting breads to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers
- Ensure quality of each loaf of bread that is sold
- Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience with bread, or relevant bakery role
- Great attention to detail & time management skills
- Organizing and leadership skills
- Willingness to enhance professional knowledge
- knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
- Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations
- ability to lift 50lbs of flour and be on your feet all day
- at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license
Hours: 8 hour shift availability - Monday through Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
