Job Summary:
The Line Lead is responsible for ensuring production, quality, efficiency and safety.
Key (Essential) Responsibilities:

- Production: monitoring production within your assigned area. Identifying issues, communicating those issues to the Product Line Lead, and implementing corrective actions to maintain optimal flow.
- Quality Assurance: ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications, managing documentation and implementing quality control measures.
- Safety and Compliance: adhering to safety regulations and procedures, ensuring the production environment is safe for all personnel, and implementing safety controls and training.
- Training and Development: training and development of new employees within your assigned area on production procedures, equipment operation, safety and quality protocols.
- Communication and Collaboration: effectively communicate with employees assigned to your area as well as other departments and shifts to ensure smooth production flow and address any issues promptly.
- Documenting and Reporting: maintaining accurate records of production activities, work related injury reporting, quality records, production performance and pass down notes for upcoming shifts.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Production knowledge- understanding of production processes, equipment operation, safety and quality procedures.
- Communication skills- ability to communicate effectively with team members, other departments/shifts, and leadership.
- Technical skills- knowledge of production equipment, tools, and software.

- Safety awareness- understanding of safety regulations and procedures and the ability to ensure a safe work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of experience in manufacturing or related work is preferred.

- Work in a fast paced environment.
- Physically lift up to 50 lbs from floor level and occasionally slide material up to 200 lbs.
- Be able to safely clear jams from the machine.
