Position Summary
The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic automotive maintenance services in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Lube Technicians are essential to the daily operations of the shop and play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil, replace oil filters, and grease chassis fittings.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Inspect and top off vehicle fluids.
- Assist customers in selecting oil types and additional services.
- Provide excellent customer service both verbally and in writing.
- Process payments for services performed.
- Perform coolant exchanges and fill services.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the shop floor.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop, office, and bathrooms.
Perform any and all other assigned duties
Qualifications:Qualifications & Requirements
- Willingness to learn and retain detailed knowledge of oils and services.
- Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot deep pit safely.
- Capable of walking, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions (hot/cold).
- Strong awareness of surroundings and adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with the public.
- Reliable transportation is required.
