Job Summary
We are seeking PART TIME Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for making and serving beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a bartender you will also take food orders for bar patrons and to-go orders. You may be asked to take tables when necessary. All positions must complete opening and closing side work duties as instructed. The ideal candidate has a flexible schedule and looking for part time work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and restaurant area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods
- Assist in managing inventory levels and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Utilize sales skills to promote drink specials and upsell menu items effectively.
- Complete cleaning side work daily
Skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Proficiency in bartending techniques and cocktail preparation
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with guests and provide personalized service.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing payments efficiently.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including knowledge of TOAST POS is a plus
- **Must be willing to take and pass alcohol beverage safety training class**
