Host (Professor Role) – The Drunken Laboratory
The Drunken Laboratory is an immersive nightlife experience where science meets partying. We are seeking high-energy, animated Hosts to serve as the "Professor" of the show — the lead personality who guides guests through the entire interactive experience.
This role is part host, part performer, and part instructor. Hosts are responsible for leading the audience through scripted segments, explaining science experiments in an entertaining way, and keeping guests engaged from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Lead the entire audience through the show as the main "Professor" character
Memorize and perform scripted content while adapting to live audience interaction
Instruct guests on how to safely and correctly perform science experiments
Interact with participants throughout the session, including "grading," commentary, and playful crowd engagement
Maintain high energy, confidence, and control of the room
Keep the experience fun, professional, and on schedule
Work closely with Lab Specialists, Supplies, DJs, and management to ensure smooth sessions
Qualifications:
Strong stage presence and confident speaking voice
Comfortable performing in front of large groups
Acting, theater, hosting, improv, or performance background strongly preferred
Energetic, animated personality with the ability to command a room
Reliable, professional, and able to follow show structure
Ability to memorize scripts and perform consistently
Schedule:
Availability Thursday through Sunday required
Show times and sessions may vary
