Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding their medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe medication administration and adherence to protocols.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceuticals appropriately.
- Stay current with pharmacy regulations, policies, and best practices to maintain compliance within the retail pharmacy environment.
- Package medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
- Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting or general pharmacy setting is preferred.
