Transportation Recruiter

The Driver Provider is seeking an experienced, results-driven Transportation Recruiter to lead high-volume recruiting efforts across our growing transportation operations.

This is not a position for someone who believes recruiting begins and ends with posting job advertisements and reviewing incoming applications.

We need a Recruiter who understands that finding qualified transportation professionals requires persistence, creativity, urgency and consistent follow-through.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

- Own the recruiting process. Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and initial outreach through interviews, offers and onboarding coordination.

- Actively source qualified candidates. Develop and execute recruiting strategies that go well beyond traditional job postings.

- Recruit transportation professionals. Identify and attract CDL and non-CDL drivers, professional chauffeurs and other transportation personnel across multiple markets.

- Build and maintain candidate pipelines. Establish relationships with potential candidates before positions become urgent.

- Drive measurable results. Maintain consistent recruiting activity and deliver against established hiring goals.

- Move quickly without sacrificing quality. Balance high-volume hiring demands with candidate qualifications, safety requirements and company standards.

- Partner with operations leadership. Understand staffing needs, anticipate upcoming demand and adjust recruiting priorities accordingly.

- Maintain accurate recruiting data. Track candidate activity, hiring progress, conversion rates and recruiting challenges.

- Follow through. Communicate consistently with candidates and hiring managers. Don't let qualified applicants disappear because nobody returned a phone call.

What We're Looking For:

- Demonstrated experience recruiting within the transportation industry. This is a firm requirement.

- Experience recruiting CDL drivers, non-CDL drivers, chauffeurs or other commercial transportation professionals.

- Proven success in high-volume recruiting environments.

- Strong direct sourcing and candidate outreach experience.

- Ability to manage multiple open positions across different locations simultaneously.

- Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms.

- Excellent and consistent communication, organization and follow-through.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively and consistently meet recruiting expectations.

Most importantly, you take ownership of your results.

When a recruiting strategy isn't working, you don't simply report that candidates aren't available.

You adjust your approach, identify alternatives and keep working until you've exhausted every reasonable opportunity.

- Success in this position isn't measured by how many job advertisements you post or how many resumes you review. It's measured by your ability to consistently identify, engage and hire qualified transportation professionals.

- You'll be expected to maintain an active pipeline, communicate recruiting progress, identify obstacles early and deliver measurable hiring results.
