Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential medical administrative support and assist in delivering high-quality client care in our med spa. This role requires a solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and the ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting with procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support healthcare providers in delivering patient care.
- Assist in taking and recording vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and respiratory rates.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical coding standards.
- Manage administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and processing medical forms.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the medical office or clinic environment.
- Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to take vital signs accurately and respond to client needs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to client interaction.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not mandatory.
