The DRIPBaR Phoenix Biltmore is in need of a part-time Infusion Specialist for 3-4 shifts per week on site. This position will need to be available Mon-Sat. Our concept is simple. We provide our customers with the freshest, highest quality intravenous and intramuscular vitamin drips that deliver essential nutrients at the cellular level for maximum absorption.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for an upbeat RN to promote and deliver intravenous vitamin therapies to support our client’s healthy lifestyles. Our clients are interested in anti-aging, health support, improving energy and mental sharpness. They are not waiting to get sick; they are working to stay well. We also support many clients battling chronic illnesses such as cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, cognitive impairment, and other challenging conditions that are only partially addressed by conventional medicine.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to be on shift 3-4 days a week
- Adjust to needs of the business
- Answers questions and provide information to patients on compound ingredients, dosage, storage medication(s), use of medication(s), pertinent interaction(s) and other information relating to the compounded medication(s)
- Mixes pharmaceutical preparations and appropriately labels containers
- Establishes and maintains compounding records. Enters prescription data accurately if on-site.
- Cleans and helps maintain equipment and work areas according to SOPs
- Maintains proper storage and security conditions of vitamins, ingredients and finished compounds
- Effectively communicates with prescribers and other healthcare professionals, conveying appropriate information to designated staff for proper compounding of IV vitamins and IM Quickshots
- Interacts professionally with customers, staff and external associates as needed
- Oversees SOP implementation, training verification, formulation of medications, CQI, quality of ingredients, staffing requirements, patient-specific needs, and any other aspect of work in the IV area
- Prepare IV & IM vitamins for administration with appropriate technique
- Inserting, monitoring and removing IV - ensuring needles and tubing stay in place during treatment, and procedure is done as easily and comfortably as possible. Oversight of the client during the infusion process
- Various Customer Service duties to include but not limited to verifying the correct forms are filled out and complete, reviewing health history forms, and providing excellent customer service
- Performs venipuncture. Possible accesses implanted ports or PICC lines
- Event based role, hours vary per week based on planned events

THE DRIPBaR Infusion specialist will assess a customers health, detect changes in symptoms or pain, and will need to know when action is necessary. They will be sympathetic to a customers needs and be able to interact with people in various emotional states. Attention to detail is crucial to administer IV vitamin infusions and work with specific protocols. IV Specialists will face multiple customers, with differing needs and stages of health. Being organized and knowing how to prioritize is a must. You will be communicating directly with customers who may have a lot of questions. You will need to be a patient listener and good communicator.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- National or State Paramedic certification
- BSN credentials
- CPR/BLS certifications
- Must possess VERY strong IV peripheral skills
- Experience accessing Ports and PICC lines
- Minimum of 2 years current experience; infusion therapy, including patient assessment skills, venous access skills
- Must be able to assume a flexible work schedule
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7 – 30 per week
