Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Develop and suggest beverage recipes to keep our menu fresh and exciting.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods.
- Uphold all health regulations related to food handling, beverage safety, and sanitation practices.
- Assist in training new team members on bar procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender with knowledge of cocktail mixing, spirits, wine, craft beer, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during busy daytime hours.
- Previous food service or restaurant experience, preferably in fine dining or hospitality environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of food and beverages.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
- Experience with mixology techniques, beverage presentation, and alcohol regulations is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.
