What does a bridal stylist do? She plays a crucial role:
- Help each bride find her find her dream dress while providing a personalized experience and building amazing memories
- Close bridal sales, upsell, and uphold brand standards
- Ensure all clients have the best experience ever
- Maintain thorough product knowledge of store inventory, including industry-specific terminology, customizations, etc.
- Continually learn all facets of bridal sales including new sales techniques, trends, products, and services
- Perform basic customer service functions including answering phones, booking appointments, maintaining housekeeping standards, following quality control guidelines, and general responsibilities
Training: We want every stylist in our store to have the best experience ever, and that includes starting with a complete training program to ensure you are completely comfortable and confident in the sales process, the products, the quality and service before working directly with clients.
Experience Required: Previous sales experience is required - including at least two years business to consumer sales. High school degree required; college preferred. Experience working in the wedding and events industry is a plus.
Hours: The Dress Shop is open Tuesday - Thursday from 12 pm - 8 pm and Friday - Saturday from 10 am - 6 pm. Saturdays are our busiest day, and all bridal stylists work at least three Saturdays a month (one Saturday off per month). We offer full time (four days a week) and part time (three days or less a week) positions.
Pay Details: This position is $20 an hour during training; after training, sales person is eligible for commissions and tips; once trained, successful stylists should expect to average $30-75 per hour with commissions and tips.
Other Benefits: We believe in work/life balance, and therefore, our full time position is a four day work week and part time is two to three days a week (8-10 hour shifts). Employee discounts do apply.

Other Details: Candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, stoop, and be on feet for duration of work shift. This position is hourly plus commissions.
