- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and other relevant platforms.
- Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure financial integrity.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and account reconciliations regularly to verify data accuracy across all accounts.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accurate employee compensation.
- Assist with budgeting activities, financial report writing, and tax-related tasks to support organizational planning and compliance efforts.
- Utilize technical accounting skills to analyze accounts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Manage bookkeeping and budgeting, provide strong clerical and administrative support, assist with program coordination, and support daily operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, and other financial management tools.
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including GAAP and governmental accounting standards.
- Experience with double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes, bank reconciliation techniques, and payroll administration.
- Familiarity with financial concepts like budgeting, account analysis, and financial report writing.

- Ability to perform 10 key typing with high accuracy for data entry tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in account reconciliation and financial analysis.
- Basic knowledge of tax regulations related to non-profit or corporate entities is a plus.
