Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about integrating creative approaches—such as storytelling, role-play, and dramatic play—into therapy while maintaining strong clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric and/or adult clients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Incorporate creative, play-based, and drama-inspired techniques into therapy sessions
- Provide engaging, client-centered therapy in individual and/or group settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with professional standards
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate clients and families on strategies to support communication outside of sessions
- Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in speech-language pathology
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices
- Experience with pediatric populations preferred (or specify target population)
- Creative mindset with a willingness to incorporate expressive or dramatic elements into therapy
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with play-based or arts-integrated therapy approaches
- Comfort with storytelling, role-playing, or performance-based techniques
- Ability to engage and motivate clients with diverse needs
