Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about integrating creative approaches—such as storytelling, role-play, and dramatic play—into therapy while maintaining strong clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric and/or adult clients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
  • Incorporate creative, play-based, and drama-inspired techniques into therapy sessions
  • Provide engaging, client-centered therapy in individual and/or group settings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with professional standards
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Educate clients and families on strategies to support communication outside of sessions
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in speech-language pathology

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practices
  • Experience with pediatric populations preferred (or specify target population)
  • Creative mindset with a willingness to incorporate expressive or dramatic elements into therapy
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with play-based or arts-integrated therapy approaches
  • Comfort with storytelling, role-playing, or performance-based techniques
  • Ability to engage and motivate clients with diverse needs
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic therapy environment
