What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at The Drake Restaurant?
The Drake Restaurant is seeking part time servers to work mostly nights and weekends. The typical shift is 4-5 hours at night and slightly longer on the weekends. This is a great way to make extra money. Our servers regularly average over $20/hour with tips.
-Previous serving experience is preferred but willing to train the right individual
-Must be at least 18 years old
-Must be able to carry 10-30 pounds
-Must be able to reach to heights of 6 feet and depths of 2 feet
-Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
-Must report to work well groomed, in clean and proper uniform and practice good personal hygiene
-Must be able to greet all guests in a courteous and respectable way
-Must be able to multitask in a very busy restaurant
-Will take verbal meal and drink orders according to guest preference
-Will be required to perform side work during shift downtime including but not limited to rolling silverware, refilling condiment containers, restocking clean glasses and other items, bussing and resetting tables, seating guests, delivering guest meals to table, cleaning work areas, etc.
-Will be required to operate our POS(training provided) including entering guest food and drink orders and settling up the bill
-We expect our servers to be team oriented and to perform all duties to maximize guest satisfaction
