Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot drainage problems using schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, including pipe threading and assembly of drainage components.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete projects efficiently.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and HVAC-related drawings to ensure precise execution of work.
  • Perform construction plumbing tasks such as pipe fitting, remodeling plumbing fixtures, and system upgrades.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess conditions, identify issues, and execute repairs on construction sites with safety compliance in mind.
  • Assist with carpentry tasks related to drainage system installation or remodeling projects.
  • Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of tools and materials to various job sites.
  • Collaborate with team members on schematics interpretation and mechanical system integration.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for accountability and reporting purposes.
  • Support maintenance person tasks or general construction duties as needed to ensure project completion.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction or plumbing environments with familiarity in construction site operations.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, schematics reading, HVAC basics, and mechanical knowledge.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites.
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings related to drainage or remodeling projects.
  • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
  • Experience with carpentry or remodeling projects is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred; ability to operate company vehicles safely.
  • Maintenance Person experience or background in assembly or remodeling enhances versatility on job sites.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting drainage issues.
  • Strong physical stamina for working outdoors in various weather conditions; willingness to perform heavy lifting as required. Pay: $55,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
