What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flagger position at The DPI Group?
DPI Staffing is looking for Flaggers for our customer in the Tri-Cities, WA area. If you’re looking for a position that gives you the freedom to work outdoors while ensuring the safety of the motorists around you, we want to hear from you!
Various shifts are available, but typically run Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm. Occasional Overtime and Weekends may be necessary.

Some of what you’ll be doing:
- Directing traffic using signs, flags and hand signals
- Setting up and removing traffic control devices
- Monitoring traffic conditions and adjusting control methods as needed
- Maintaining a safe work zone
- Reporting unsafe working conditions or incidents to supervisory staff
What you’ll need:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Flagger certification (or ability to obtain prior to starting)
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Good communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- The ability to walk and stand for long periods, and the ability to lift and carry 25-50lbs
