We are seeking a CNC Programmer to join one of our local commercial partners! In this role, you will create and optimize CNC machine programs for cutting, drilling, and punching structural steel components. Using software such as AutoCAD, SigmaNEST, and PeddiMat, you will ensure precision, maximize material efficiency, and support smooth workflow coordination in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay Range: $28 – $40 per hour, DOE
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Duties:
- Create and optimize CNC programs for beamlines, plate burners, and angle masters.
- Use AutoCAD, SigmaNEST, PeddiMat, and other software to prepare accurate production files.
- Verify program accuracy and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality results.
- Work with shop supervisors and machine operators to prioritize production needs.
- Review shop drawings and specifications to ensure proper part design and fit.
- Maintain organized program files and documentation for repeat production.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to maximize material yield and machine efficiency.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with CNC programming for structural steel fabrication.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SigmaNEST, PeddiMat, or similar software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
