The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, and skilled in stakeholder engagement, with a strong background in project management and organizational change. This is a nine-month contract role, primarily remote, with occasional on-site visits as needed.

$45.00—$55.00/hour

Responsibilities
- Assess current state of research administration and compliance processes across campuses.
- Develop and refine project scope, milestones, and timelines in collaboration with leadership.
- Create and execute a phased integration plan, prioritizing critical deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including research administration, compliance, IT, and finance.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure clear communication of goals, progress, and changes.
- Manage risks related to compliance and audit exposure, escalating issues as needed.
- Oversee integration of IT systems (e.g., Kuali Research, Huron eCert) at a conceptual level, partnering with technical subject matter experts.
- Drive change management efforts, focusing on communication and stakeholder buy-in.
- Monitor progress and report regularly to executive sponsors, ensuring accountability for deliverables.
- 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Proven ability to manage organizational change initiatives and facilitate decision-making among diverse groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging executive stakeholders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with compliance and audit considerations in regulated environments.
- Experience in higher education or research administration.
- Exposure to IT system integration projects (conceptual understanding; technical expertise not required).
- Background in process documentation and governance.
- PMP or similar project management certification.
$45.00—$55.00/hour
