Daytime bartender needed.
Shifts from 11-5 Tuesday through Saturday.
You must have bartending and serving experience as you will also be taking tables.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change and totals.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible serving practices and prevent over-service or intoxication.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events like banquets or catering functions.
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders during busy daytime shifts while maintaining high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for efficient order management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the food industry.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing procedures.
- Experience serving alcohol responsibly in hospitality environments; certification in responsible beverage service is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy daytime hours effectively.
