What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraeducator - RISE position at The Dorset School?
Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union is seeking a RISE Paraeducator to join our team for the 2025/2026 school year! RISE is a district-wide program housed at The Dorset School designed for students with ASD or other related diagnoses. The RISE program provides a “home base” classroom focusing on intensive instruction in communication, personal care, social-emotional skills and academic skills. The RISE program is committed to increasing student independence in order to transition to a regular education environment as appropriate. Paraeducators work under the day-to-day direction of a special education teacher, SLP, OT, PT and the Principal.

Pay Rate:
- $22.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on years of direct experience working with the same population of students.
Salary : $22 - $26
