Duties
- Assist with the installation, hanging, and repair of various types of doors including interior, exterior, metal, and custom fixtures
- Support the use of hand tools and power tools for cutting, fitting, and securing door components
- Help interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise installation according to specifications
- Aid in fabricating door frames or modifying existing structures using carpentry and welding techniques
- Perform heavy lifting of doors, frames, hardware, and related materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites or job locations
Experience
- Prior construction site experience or hands-on work in remodeling projects is highly preferred
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, carpentry, or metal framing is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, drills, saws, welding equipment, and measuring devices
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in a fast-paced environment
