Key responsibilities
BMS System Operation and Optimization
- Monitor, adjust, and optimize BMS software and hardware to maintain operational efficiency.
- Review building settings and ensure that all BMS-enabled buildings function appropriately.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot system malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Provide support for energy management programs such as demand response.
- Ensure understanding of GW networks and systems to minimize disruptions of service.
- Repair, calibrate, and inspect electronic devices associated with BMS.
- Perform system adjustments, including changing building set points, adjusting parameters,
- modifying schedules and replacing controllers or circuit boards.
- Install new control wiring and systems as needed to support BMS infrastructure.
- Test and verify operating system upgrades for optimal response and security.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in BMS operation, programming, maintenance, and optimization, preferably in a multi-campus or institutional environment.
- Strong understanding of HVAC automation, control theory, and energy management principles.
- Industry certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Automation Professional (CAP), or BACnet® International Certification preferred.
- Experience with Siemens, Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Trane, or other leading BMS platforms preferred.
