Community Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced, highly-motivated Community Manager for a residential apartment community located in Washington, DC (Frederick Douglass Apartments). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, financial reporting, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the community and ensure its overall success

• Maintain property standards

• Deliver stellar customer service

• Tenant relations

• Leasing and marketing

• Oversight of maintenance and inspections

• Compliance and regulations

• Budgeting/ Financial Reporting

• Team leadership and training

• Increase occupancy, decrease delinquency

• Supervise office/leasing team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential property management

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent leadership skills

• COS or CPO Certifications

• Experience with PBS8 (Project Based Section 8)

• MOR File Reviews

• REAC and/or NSPIRE inspections

• Ability to multitask

• Professional appearance

• Strong organizational skills

• Computer literacy

• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Yardi

• Some weekend work
