- Conduct pre-close reviews of mortgage loan files to ensure loans were underwritten compliance with Dominion and Investor Guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies, and federal/state regulations
- Validate credit, income, asset, and collateral documentation against the original underwriting decision.
- Confirm that all loan conditions were properly satisfied prior to closing.
- Identify and document any deficiencies, inconsistencies, or compliance issues.
- Identify any data deficiencies.
- Communicate with underwriters and Account Manager to resolve findings quickly and accurately
- Maintain set service levels.
- Maintain detailed audit trails of all communications and clearance actions
- Minimum 3–5 years of mortgage QC experience.
- Strong knowledge of agency and investor guidelines with a focus on non-QM.
- Familiarity with federal and state mortgage regulations, including TRID.
- Familiarity with LOS platforms such as Encompass
- Excellent organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate findings professionally and clearly in written responses.
