The Victim Advocate provides essential support and advocacy services to clients residing in the domestic violence shelter part-time. They play a key role in ensuring that clients receive comprehensive assistance and resources to support their journey toward safety and healing.
The Campus and Community Outreach Advocate will assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating of campus and community activities for the enhancement of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking response, awareness, and prevention. Bachelor's Degree Required.
The Youth Advocate oversees Shelter’s youth-based services, education, community outreach, and community engagement, and assuring quality services to all clients we serve and all community agencies with whom we collaborate. Bachelor's Degree Required.
The Case Manager and Legal Advocate at the Domestic Violence Shelter plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive support and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. This position involves working closely with clients to assess their needs, develop individualized service plans, and connect them with resources to achieve safety, stability, and empowerment. Bachelor's Degree Required.
The Environmental Advocate plays a hands-on role in supporting the organization’s sustainability goals through direct action in facility upkeep, repair, cleaning, and space reorganization. This position combines environmental stewardship with practical support to ensure that workspaces and community areas are safe, clean, and aligned with eco-conscious practices.
The Volunteer and Social Media Coordinator ensures the organization has an adequate number of volunteers for its current needs, volunteers are placed in roles suitable to their skills, and they have a fulfilling experience contributing to our organization. Additionally, they coordinate the social media presence for the organization, in partnership with the Executive Director and those doing program and event coordination. They also work on the website, do occasional outreach/speaking, donation drives, newsletter, and fundraising marketing. Bachelor's Degree Required.
