What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Lead position at The Dolphin Group?
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 1st shift Production Team Lead to support our medical assembly production team. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating daily operations, ensuring production goals are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support daily production activities to ensure workflow efficiency
- Communicate work instructions clearly to team members and assist in task execution
- Monitor production output and inventory levels to meet operational targets
- Audit processes and equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance
- Assist with training and retraining of operators to maintain quality standards
- Identify and help resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Assist with inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Track and support preventive maintenance activities
- Provide day-to-day support to team members on the production floor
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and company policies
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably medical or regulated industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance
- Familiarity with FDA/QMS regulations is a plus
