The Business Technology Operations Manager is a key member of the corporate team at The Dolben Company, based in our Woburn, MA office. This role serves as a central internal resource responsible for ensuring that organizational policies, procedures, training programs, and technology systems are aligned, current, and effectively supporting business objectives. The Business Technology Operations Manager partners closely with Accounting, Operations, Technology, Human Resources, and Marketing to maintain operational standards, support new initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across the organization. Travel throughout the portfolio is required.
As the Business Technology Operations Manager, your job functions include:
- Analyzing and assessing current technology systems, platforms, and workflows used throughout the organization
- Identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for technology enhancements that support business objectives
- Collaborating with departments to understand operational needs and translate them into technology and system requirements
- Coordinating with software vendors and internal teams to support system integration and enhancements
- Acting as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and effective communication
- Supporting testing, validation, and user acceptance of new or enhanced systems
- Reviewing Helpdesk tickets to identify recurring issues, root causes, and process breakdowns; recommending updates to policies, procedures, and training
- Coordinating onboarding training, updating curricula, and developing training documentation, reference materials, and job aids
- Participating in new initiatives, rollouts, and organizational improvements; supporting change management efforts
- Reviewing audit results, action plans, and scoring; performing trend analysis to identify systemic issues or training gaps
- Ensuring the Operations Manual and Knowledge Base SharePoint resources are updated to reflect current practices
- Serving as an internal subject-matter resource, providing recommendations for enhancements or changes to policies and procedures
What You Bring to Us:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with property management systems or operational technology required; familiarity with MRI Software preferred
- 5 years of experience in multi-family operations, compliance, audit, training, systems implementation, or process improvement
- Strong understanding of internal controls, audit processes, and policy governance
- Experience working cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, and Technology teams
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex workflows and translate findings into actionable improvements
- Strong documentation, communication, and training development skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint; experience with LMS platforms a plus
- Willingness to travel throughout the portfolio as needed

- Competitive compensation. Salary range: $85K-$100K annually. Plus additional bonus opportunities. Compensation levels are determined in accordance with the employee’s qualifications and experience.
