What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Groomer position at The Doggy Port?
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Pet Groomer to join our team and provide safe, high‑quality grooming for dogs of all breeds and sizes. WE ARE HIRING FOR OUR REVERE, EAST BOSTON, AND WEST ROXBURY LOCATIONS.
This role includes full grooming services—bathing, trimming, de‑matting, shaving, and styling—while maintaining a clean workspace, offering a calm and positive experience, and communicating kindly with pet parents.
Candidates must have at least 4 years of professional grooming experience, strong scissor and clipper skills, knowledge of canine anatomy, patience with all dog temperaments, reliability, and comfort using digital tools. Applicants must live near or have reliable transportation to Revere, MA, and provide a portfolio of past work, be punctual, and have weekday and/or weekend availability.
