What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant position at The Dogg House?
The Dogg House is seeking a dependable candidate for our Kennel Attendant role.
Roughly 18-30 hours a week, with potential to get more during busier times.
Ideally to fill a Sat ->Tues or Thurs-Sun schedule.
Duties include but not be limited to:
· Cleaning kennel facilities
· Feeding animals
· Bathing dogs
· Exercise activities
· Answering phone calls
This position is physically intensive, to include being on your feet and walking for extended periods of time as well as bending and stooping. A solid work history and work-related references are requested.
Shifts start at 7:30am. Candidates need to be able to work independently, as well as with others. Must have own transportation. Prior experience with animals is preferred, but not required.
The dog boarding industry goes hand in hand with the travel industry. Therefore, weekend and holiday times are our busiest. Weekend and holiday availability are a must.
