The DNA Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Continuous Improvement. In this role, you will provide senior-level leadership within our client’s Access and Program Management Office, overseeing Release Management and Continuous Improvement initiatives. You will drive operational excellence, SDLC governance, project portfolio management, process optimization, vendor coordination, and organizational change management while ensuring successful delivery of complex healthcare technology initiatives.
Overview Requirements:
• Lead Continuous Improvement and Release Management disciplines across the DCAS program
• Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on waste reduction, quality improvement, and process optimization
• Manage a portfolio of projects aligned with strategic organizational goals and timelines
• Conduct release management meetings across multiple disciplines to ensure timely product delivery
• Develop, monitor, and report on KPIs including quality metrics, efficiency improvements, and process controls
• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and process gaps and implement improvement strategies
• Oversee project governance, standards, policies, procedures, and PMO methodologies
• Lead project management transformation and organizational change management initiatives
• Manage vendor relationships and stakeholder expectations across multiple projects
• Develop project roadmaps, staffing strategies, and implementation plans
• Collaborate with department leaders to prioritize work and allocate resources effectively
• Drive communication, reporting, and visibility across project portfolios
• Ensure SDLC compliance and adherence to District policies and procedures
• Serve as escalation point for project teams, leadership, directors, and stakeholders
• Monitor project performance and ensure consistent, repeatable PMO outcomes
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience leading project and program management initiatives
• Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Strong experience managing large teams, performance management, and organizational change
• Proven success delivering complex, high-value software projects across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement experience
• Experience in healthcare, hospital, or health system environments
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
• Qualified for a STaR2 Master-Level Labor Category
