Role Overview

The Client Acquisition Associate is responsible for generating new business through proactive outbound outreach, business direct to customers and prospects. The primary source of leads will be online based and aging inbound untapped leads. This commission-only position focuses on driving revenue by sourcing, nurturing, and converting new opportunities within weddings, corporate events, and social events. The ideal candidate thrives in a performance-driven environment, has a strong knowledge base in weddings, excels at communication, and represents The DJ Firm with professionalism, warmth, and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, identify, and qualify new outbound prospects weekly (Wedding, corporate, and social clients).
- Respond to online leads and contact aging inbound untapped leads.
- Conduct consistent outbound outreach through phone calls, email sequences, zoom meetings, and DMs to develop new revenue opportunities.
- Lead outbound-generated clients from first contact to closing, ensuring an exceptional client experience.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and event estimates with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Upsell talent, enhancements, and production add-ons to increase average booking value.
- Follow up with outbound leads and past clients to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Maintain 100% accuracy in outbound activity logs (calls, emails, touchpoints, statuses). Transfer 100% of all online leads to The DJ Firm CRM.
- Submit weekly outbound performance reports and pipeline updates.
Required Qualifications

- Prior experience in outbound sales or event-industry sales preferred.
- Prior experience in the wedding industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach and performance-based compensation.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term relationships.
- Professional presence suitable for representing a premium entertainment brand.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented.
