We’re seeking an experienced and motivated 3rd Shift Foodservice Warehouse Manager to lead our night operations. This individual will oversee a team of selectors to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient picking, staging, and loading of customer orders.

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading a team of selectors in all aspects of order fulfillment and truck loading. The ideal candidate has proven success in building and motivating teams, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about operational excellence. This role requires a people-first leader who communicates effectively across departments, drives continuous improvement, and fosters a culture of teamwork and accountability.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all night shift warehouse operations, including pick-to-pallet product selecting, fulfillment, and loading trucks via pallet jacks
• Review with Shipping Manager the weekly labor schedules aligned with route deadlines and case per hour goals and accuracy goals. 
• Conduct daily shift meetings to review prior performance, set nightly goals, and communicate key updates
• Organize route paperwork, pick sheets, and product labels for efficient workflow
• Coach, train, and hold selectors accountable to achieving productivity goals (cases per hour) and accuracy goals (errors per cases picked).  
• Maintain proactive communication with other departments to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution
• Achieve continuous improvement in productivity and labor efficiency through coaching, feedback, and process optimization
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Promote and enforce workplace safety standards, serving as a visible advocate for safe operations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of successful warehouse management experience
• Background in the Foodservice or Produce Distribution industry strongly preferred
• Experience with ERP systems and warehouse management software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership, training, and coaching abilities
• Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn new systems
• Flexibility to work varying hours based on business needs

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Capable of working in a refrigerated warehouse environment
• Able to bend, lift, and carry up to 70 pounds
• Comfortable getting on and off warehouse equipment throughout the shift
