Retail Dispensary Store Manager

The Dispensary by the Buddboyz is seeking an experienced and motivated Dispensary Store Manager to lead daily retail operations, drive sales performance, and ensure full compliance with state and local cannabis regulations. The Store Manager is responsible for creating a welcoming customer experience, managing staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding the brand’s culture and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

• Oversee day-to-day dispensary operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance
• Open and close the store according to established procedures
• Monitor and improve store performance, sales metrics, and customer satisfaction

Team Leadership

• Train and supervise budtenders and support staff
• Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and strong work ethic
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback

Customer Experience

• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Educate staff to provide accurate product knowledge and responsible recommendations
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and brand-aligned store environment

Inventory & Merchandising

• Manage inventory levels, product intake, audits, and reconciliations
• Coordinate product displays and merchandising to maximize sales
• Work with leadership on purchasing, promotions, and product strategy

Administrative & Financial Duties

• Manage cash handling, POS systems, and daily financial reporting
• Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to meet or exceed goals
• Communicate regularly with ownership and upper management

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of retail management experience (cannabis industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products, compliance requirements, and retail best practices
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must meet all state requirements to work in a cannabis dispensary (e.g., age, licensing)
