The Dispensary by The BuddBoyz is a growing, community-driven cannabis retail shop focused on quality service, good vibes, and a smooth customer experience. We’re looking for a reliable, organized Admin to help keep the business running efficiently behind the scenes.
Position Overview
The Admin will support daily operations by handling interviews, scheduling, and other essential administrative tasks. This role is perfect for someone who’s organized, friendly, and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the hiring process:
- Review applications
- Schedule and conduct initial interviews
- Communicate with candidates
- Help maintain employee records and paperwork
- Support onboarding for new hires (paperwork, introductions, basic training coordination)
- Assist with general office organization and administrative duties
- Answer emails, messages, and phone calls in a professional manner
- Help with occasional errands or small tasks as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all cannabis industry regulations
Qualifications
- Experience in admin, office support, or HR-related tasks preferred
- Comfortable interviewing candidates and speaking professionally
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
- Proficient with basic computer tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Must be 21 and meet all state cannabis employment requirements
- Reliable and able to adapt to changing needs
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Experience in retail or cannabis industry
- Scheduling or HR experience
- Familiarity with employee management software
