Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Yoga Instructor to join our team at both of our locations (Newtown, PA and Warrington, PA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in yoga practices, body mechanics, and anatomy, along with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all levels. This role requires not only teaching yoga classes but also engaging with clients to promote wellness and fitness within our community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and safe yoga classes for individuals and groups of varying skill levels.
- Develop class plans that incorporate various yoga styles and techniques, ensuring a well-rounded experience for participants.
- Provide modifications and adjustments to accommodate different abilities and needs.
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages personal growth and wellness among students.
- Maintain knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to ensure safe practices during sessions.
- Promote additional fitness services such as personal training or group fitness classes to enhance client engagement.
- Assist in fitness sales initiatives by providing information about programs and services available at the facility.
- Stay updated on industry trends and continue professional development through workshops or certifications.
Requirements
- The ability to travel between both of our locations (Warrington, PA 18976 and Newtown, PA 18940)
- Experience with children
- The ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Yoga experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
