Join our STEM-based preschool team at Science Sprouts Discovery School, where we prepare tomorrow’s leaders through joyful, hands-on learning every day! We’re looking for an energetic, enthusiastic educator who brings positivity, structure, and heart into the classroom. You’ll lead a group of students in engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that foster curiosity, independence, and kindergarten readiness.
- Create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that supports each child’s developmental needs.
- Implement daily routines and developmentally appropriate activities that promote social-emotional, language, motor, and cognitive growth.
- Use observation and documentation to track progress and support individualized learning.
- Foster strong communication and partnerships with families.
- Ensure the health, safety, and supervision of children.
- Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to create a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and follow program standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or equivalent early childhood coursework (preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong classroom management and behavior guidance skills
- Ability to plan and implement engaging, standards-aligned lessons
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and meet physical demands of an active early childhood environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
