Nurse Manager, Department of Addiction Medicine Position OverviewReporting to the Associate Chief Medical Officer, the Nurse Manager for the Department of Addiction Medicine provides inspirational, hands-on leadership for 2-4 nurses per shift and a staff of 15-20 nurses onsite in our ATS center and support 3 nurses: OBAT (1), CSS (1), and residential recovery (1) in the continuum of our department. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead a collaborative, supportive nursing culture rooted in empathy, accountability, safety, and clinical excellence.Mentor and coach nurses to build confidence and capability—especially newer clinicians entering addiction medicine.Oversee staffing, scheduling, and recruitment to ensure the unit is resourced and supported to deliver safe, high-quality care.Perform regular performance conversations, celebrate strengths, and develop individualized professional growth plans.Directly Lead and Supervise Nursing Staff: Oversee the daily activities and performance of nursing staff working in ATS. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to nursing personnel in the delivery of care to patients with substance use disorders. Provides oversight to nurse staff in ATS, CSS, Askia and OBAT.
